We invite you to visit us at this historic winery, where you will gain an insight into the fascinating world of wine, and enjoy an unforgettable experience for the senses.

The Wine & Culture Center of the Carmel Winery located in Zichron Yaacov is an existential visitor center, providing tours, workshops and wine tasting. This historical winery has opened its doors to the public, presenting its fascinating story, from the onset of Israel’s wine industry, up to the new world of wine today.

The integration of the “Old World” and “New World” methods of winemaking is the unique magic of the winery.

Visitors will be able to observe the chain of wine production from a historical perspective – from the beginning of settlement in Israel, and its close connection to the Israeli wine industry, up to the revolution in Israeli wines which is happening today.

The tour includes a visit to the winery cellars, with a chance to view authentic traditional and innovative technologies used in the production of our wines.

Visitors will be able to view a short film which provides a step by step illustration of how the winery and the wine industry progressed during its long history.

To complete the experience, visitors can enjoy a tutored wine tasting with a varied selection of Carmel’s prestigious wines.

The professional team in the Wine & Culture Center consists of highly experienced wine educators in the field, allowing for each visitor to enjoy a wine experience, relevant to their individual knowledge and desire.

The Wine Culture Center operates an in-house wine store where you can buy the full range of Carmel’s renowned wines, whilst receiving expert advice and guidance.

Tours are by reservation only.

Opening hours of the Wine & Culture Center:

Sun-Thursday 9:30 to 17:00.

Fridays 9:00 to 14:00.
