The Marselan grapes are grown in the Judean Hills, the Carignan from old vines in the south of Mount Carmel, and the Grenache grapes come from vineyards in the Upper Galilee.

The final blend was aged for eight months in 4 French, 5,000 liter oak barrels, the large barrels to imparting complexity whilst retaining the fruity character of the wine.

Harvest
The fall and winter leading up to 2015 was colder than average, and rainfall was less than normal. Spring was cool which led to a 10-day delay in the start of the harvest in relation to the average. August and September were warmer than usual and included a dramatic dust storm. Despite the complex conditions, we were able to produce complex and high quality wines.
