The Private Collection series of Carmel Winery is an established series of varietal and non-varietal high quality wines, produced from grapes grown in vineyards in several growing regions in Israel.
From the early 1980s until the mid-1990s, it was known as the Rothschild series.
The wine labels carry images of the Baron Edmond de Rothschild, founder of Carmel Winery, who contributed to the establishment of the winery and to the wine industry in Israel.
Private Collection series wines are consistently acclaimed for their high quality and value for money, and recently were awarded 3 Gold Medals in the "Best Value" competition in Israel. Both the red wines and white wines from the Private Collection label are characterized by their fruit forward style and easy food pairing qualities.
Red wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, Cabernet Merlot.
White wines: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Emerald Riesling Colombard, Muscat and the new sparkling MOSCATO in its attractive blue bottle.
