Citadelle du Vin 2018
TThe Carmel Winery has received the following awards in the recent internationally renowned wine competition, Citadelle du Vin, which took place this month in France.

The Citadelle du Vin wine competition was founded in 2002 in Bruges, near Bordeaux in France. The competition takes place just before the international and renowned annual Vinexpo Competition in Bordeaux.

The IWC International Wine Challenge, which has taken place in London for the past 35 years, is recognized as being one of the largest wine competitions in the world.

The Shavuot festival, and the beginning of Summer, is a wonderful opportunity for us to welcome a new wine into the renowned Private Collection series – MOSCATO. Lightly sparkling, this wine was fermented in a pressure controlled vat (Methode Charmat), and was produced from mature Muscat gapes. This delicately sweet, balanced wine, in its attractive blue bottle, displays a medium body with aromas of tropical fruit.

Wine Enthusiast
The Carmel Winery has been awarded with high scores which were recently announced by the renowned Wine Enthusiast magazine. The results will be published in their May 2018 issue.
In the Eshkol Hazahav 2018 competition – Israel's "Wine Oscars", the Carmel Winery was awarded with 5 gold medals amongst the 12 medals received for their wines.
Out of the 5 gold medals, 4 of the wines are in the white wine category. The winery has proved itself to be a leader in the white wine category in the Israeli wine industry, not only quantity, but also in quality.

Wineries offering the best value for money wines : 6 Medals for the Carmel Winery – Best Value 2018.
Out of the 16 categories, the Carmel Winery was awarded 5 gold, and one bronze medal in 6 of the categories.
As in each year, the Private Collection label continues to reap awards in the Best Value for money competition. Amongst the red wines taking part, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz were awarded the best value for money wines priced at under 50 NIS per bottle.

A First for the Israeli Wine Industry Sparkling Buzz Moscato in cans!
The Carmel Winery is proud to be the leader in the introduction of a new category to the Israeli wine industry – Sparkling Buzz Moscato in cans of 250ml.
a light, bubbly and fun young wine with only 5.5% alcohol.
Sparkling Buzz Moscato is available in Israeli wine stores at 9.90 NIS for a 250 ml can.
The Sparkling Buzz series introduced recently Sparkling Buzz Forest Berries, which is a wine based beverage, lightly enhanced with forest berries.

Sparkling Buzz – Forest Berries
Sparkling Buzz was introduced following the growing, worldwide trend for flavored sparkling wines.
Sparkling Buzz is produced from Muscat grapes with an added touch of forest berries, and has a low alcohol level of 6.5%.
The wine has a delicate forest berry aroma and is perfect as an aperitif, with a light meal, picnic or for parties.
The Sparkling Buzz is widely available in various wine outlets and supermarkets in Israel and the prices range from between 22-25 NIS per bottle.

The Best Israeli Wine
An exciting achievement for Carmel Winery at the international competition Citadeles Du Vin in Bordeaux!
The Special Prize gold medal and trophy for the 2Vats Rose 2016 - Best of all Israeli wines that participated in the competition.
And if that is not enough, we also returned home with another 2 gold medals for the 2Vats White 2016, and the Malbec Admon vineyard 2013.
